View Wildlife PortfolioLoren was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, but eventually split his time between Southern California and Idaho. He now lives in Idaho full-time, but both California and Idaho inspire Loren’s love for the outdoors.
He attended school at the University of Montana, allowing him to be surrounded by snow capped peaks, unpolluted night skies, and many miles of backpacking trails. After college, Loren went on a safari in Tanzania and brought along a camera he inherited from his late aunt Cynthia, who was a skilled wildlife photographer and loved animals. When he returned, he continued to pursue his interest in photography and grow his skills while working for his family’s construction business. During that time, Loren came to understand quality, craftsmanship, and real estate – and, ultimately, how to best represent those facets on camera.
From flying his drone, to snapping photos of the Idaho night sky or mountain landscapes, the beautiful Sawtooth wilderness always has something to offer. When he’s able, you’ll find him paddle boarding and camping on the lakes north of Galena, with his camera on a tripod pointed at the Milky Way.
